Gold Dye
I was hoping someone would tell me what dye colours I need to mix a Gold colour for my Female Warrior in Kryton Armour.

It varies greatly armor to armor. But I have noticed that Black + Yellow gives a nice goldish color to my warrior's armor.

I used to mix ((orange + silver) + (yellow + silver)) for a nice gold effect on paragon armour.

Used to be Yellow+Silver. Maybe White + Yellow? Dunno, that's how I got my light blue.

Yeah, the preview is the only way to be sure. There are so many differences to the armors.

Ironically, I managed to get Gold using Red+Silver for some random piece of armor. So play around with the dyes, and see what you get. Luckily, like the above have said, the dye preview is there, so you won't lose anything.

If you're a Warrior, then just yellow usually turns the metallic parts gold.

Just experiment a bit, Silver + Yellow can give some nice results, but it's different per armor.

Back in the day when there was dye remover and armors came pre-dyed, Yellow+Orange+Silver+Silver was the "gold dye."
Nowadays with the new dye system, there's no way to tell what you're going to get without using the dye preview window. So, suck it up, buy some dyes, and use the preview. I might add that you should remember to try colors that make no logical sense. For instance, you wouldn't think that Red+Red+Red+Green(?!) would make a brilliant bright red, but it does on some armors. The best-looking gold color for your armor will certainly include yellow, but it may also include something totally unintuitive like blue or purple. |

Dye colors vary based on armor and profession, but here is a dye guide for the new system:

I got a pretty nice gold on my male Sunspear warrior armor using brown+yellow+red I think.
